Robert James Workshop

Robert Ellis and James Coplestone have worked together for over two decades.

Their extraordinary collection of sculptures, miniatures and jewellery are inspired by classic children's literature and in particular, Sir John Tenniel’s illustrations from ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’ and recently, Cicley Mary Barker's Flower Fairies.

These bronze sculptures are first modelled in terracotta and cast in bronze using the cira perdu (lost wax) process. Only the highest quality materials are used and strictly limited editions are cast. All Robert James Workshop sculptures are created and cast in the South West of England.
