Grey Abbey Estate

Situated on the eastern shores of Strangford Lough, Grey Abbey has been the home of the Montgomery family for over 400 years.

The Estate includes a renowned 18th century Irish Georgian country house, extensive gardens with an important collection of southern hemisphere plants, woodland and farmland.

The House and Gardens are adjacent to the ruins of a 12th century Cistercian abbey, which until recently formed part of the grounds.

The House and Gardens are open to visitors by appointment. 4km of woodland trails are available for riding, running, walking and trail cycling.

Indoor and outdoor spaces are available for events both large and small.
